Project 365: 362/365 Birthday Quilt
I finally finished it! I finished my birthday quilt. You may remember that at my birthday party I had my friends write me messages onto patchwork squares. I also took photos from the photobooth at my party and incorporated them into the quilt. Well, I finally finished it. It’s huge and I love it! I’ve been using it to keep me warm since it’s become so cold here. The front and back are both pictured here. I used Elizabeth Hartman’s Small Plates design.
Project 365: 337/365 WIP Wednesday: Attaching Quilt Binding
Once again, I made further progress on my birthday quilt. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out. I can’t wait to show you guys the finished product.
Project 365: 301/365 The Birthday Quilt Quilted
I’ve been working on this birthday quilt since before my actual birthday. Slowly, but surely I am making progress. As of this photo I had finally finished quilting the quilt. I followed Elizabeth Hartman’s recommendation when doing straight line quilting. Instead of sewing around the edges of each patch, so sew a quarter inch from the edge on each side. I really liked how this technique turned out.
